Asus Chromebook Flip Review

Before reading further, please keep in mind that this Asus Chromebook Flip review is purely informative and the verdict is based on a personal opinion.

Premium Chromebooks have appeared for some time, for example Google Chromebook Pixel or HP Chromebook 13, but they were not popular. This is due to the high prices they have.

Seeing this, Asus threw himself into the fight with a Chromebook in the same price range, but with better specifications. Even more, it is intended to be a long-lasting device.

Asus Chromebook Flip review (design)

The C302 is made of the same aluminum variation as C100, but its texture has an anodized finish; not a brushed texture, as far as it may seem. However, its rounded corners combined with an 0.9-inch frame give it a stylish look, giving the impression that it’s inspired by the MacBook Pro.

Asus Chromebook Flip, C302

With a weight of just 2.6 pounds, the C302 is one of the lightest Chromebooks, and its appearance facilitates tablet mode conversion. While other Chromebooks offer a normal keyboard, C302’s keys offer a satisfying 1.4mm touch.

Asus Chromebook Flip review (our opinion)

Our opinion about the C302 is a positive one, considering the advantages presented above, as well its disadvantages, such as low speakers and the fact that there is no support for out-of-box Android apps.

We think it’s a worthwhile device, although the price is high. It is the embodiment of quality, and its requirements are on the cost.
